Waiver Form - Liability Release
I am providing this Liability Release to the Illinois River Watershed Partnership (“IRWP”) freely, voluntarily, and without duress, and intend for it to be effective immediately. I hereby certify that I consent to participation in an event (litter cleanup, volunteer event, or otherwise) in partnership with IRWP. I acknowledge the risks involved in the activity. With a full understanding of the risks involved, I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless IRWP, its Board of Directors and participating staff, including their officers, members, employees, agents, and/or others acting on their behalf (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all responsibility and liability for any injury, claim or death that may result during or in connection with activities associated with this event. This includes activities performed on or near the premises of the lands, including but not limited to, hiking along the bank of the creek/stream, walking through brush, wading in a flowing stream/creek, and/or collecting trash. I agree to take no action against the Released Parties because of any error, omission, accident, mishap, negligence or willful misconduct arising out of or in connection with the litter cleanup. I further expressly understand and agree that the foregoing indemnity, release and waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the law of the State of Arkansas and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full force and effect.
