Join us to keep the Chamber Springs Public Access on the Illinois River litter-free to help improve the water quality of the Illinois River Watershed.

As a volunteer we can provide you with all of the equipment and supplies needed to pick up litter, including trash-grabbers, gloves, and trash bags.

This cleanup is facilitated by our dedicated volunteer, Emily Alkema, and IRWP Stewardship Apprentice, Sarah Alvey. After registering below, feel free to reach out to sarah@irwp.org to find out more about how you can help keep our watershed litter-free.

Consent and Liability Release

By registering for this Volunteer Event I acknowledge the inherent risks associated with my involvement and by accepting these risks, I do hereby agree to release the Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP), the Board of Directors, and any participating staff or event partners from any and all responsibility and liability from any accident, injury, death, or loss, whatsoever, that may result during or in connection with this Volunteer Event. This acceptance and release of liability includes, but is not limited to, activities such as canoeing/kayaking down a flowing river, hiking along the bank of the creek/stream and/or roadway, walking through brush, wading in a flowing stream, or other activities related to this event. I agree to take no action against the Released Parties because of any error, omission, accident, mishap, negligence or willful misconduct arising out of or in connection with the Volunteer Event. I further expressly understand and agree that the foregoing indemnity, release and waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the States of Arkansas and Oklahoma and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full force and effect. I hereby certify that I am eighteen years of age or older, and I agree to participate as a volunteer in this event.
