Project Details:
Volunteers will assist in the installation of:
We will plant over 2,600 native grasses, sedges, flowers, trees, and shrubs
A 1,000 sq. ft. bioswale
A 6 stone cascading drop structures
A modified two-stage ditch
These features will help increase soil infiltration, reduce stormwater runoff, and hold back water flows. They will also improve water quality, reduce flooding risk downstream, and create a thriving habitat for local wildlife.
