Join the Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP) for our kickoff volunteer event on Spring Creek! Help us restore this vital waterway by removing invasive plants and replanting with native species to improve habitat and water quality.
Learn about the importance of riparian buffers and how they protect our streams while working alongside IRWP staff and fellow community members. This event builds on our partnership with the City of Springdale, where we’ve already planted 1,600 trees along the banks of Spring Creek.
No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm! Gloves and tools will be provided. Wear sturdy shoes and be ready to get your hands dirty for a great cause!
