On Friday April 11th, IRWP and volunteers will be doing some spring maintenance on a recently naturalized detention pond in Springdale.
This rain garden was installed last fall, so it’s first year of maintenance will be light! We will weed out any undesirable plants and add more mulch to help the plants retain moisture. Attendees are welcome to bring their own equipment -loppers, clippers, gloves, shears- or to use our provided tools. There will be water available throughout the work session to keep everyone hydrated.
